
BHOPAL, India — Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will transfer the Ladli Behna Yojana 39th instalment to the bank accounts of more than 1.25 crore eligible women on Wednesday, August 19. The state government will disburse more than Rs 2,148 crore under the regular monthly assistance and special Raksha Bandhan payment.

Combined, the regular instalment and the special assistance will take the amount transferred to each eligible woman to Rs 1,750. The money will be credited directly to DBT-enabled bank accounts.
Mohan Yadav to transfer funds from Maihar
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will make the transfer at a state-level programme in Maihar on Wednesday. The event will also include the inauguration and Bhoomi Poojan of various development works in Maihar district.
According to the official release cited by ANI, these development projects have a combined value of Rs 256 crore, adding a separate development component to the programme.

The Madhya Pradesh government said it has transferred a total of Rs 63,248 crore to beneficiary women through 39 instalments since the Ladli Behna Yojana was launched in June 2023.
For the ongoing financial year 2026-27, the state has made a budgetary provision of Rs 23,882.81 crore for the scheme. The allocation is intended to support its continued implementation during the financial year.
Cabinet approves five-year continuation of scheme
The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday also approved Rs 1,14,365 crore for the continued implementation of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana from 2026-27 to 2030-31.
The approval provides for the continuation of the scheme over the specified five-year period. Under the existing arrangement described in the official release, beneficiaries receive Rs 1,500 every month through their DBT-enabled bank accounts.
