RAJKOT, India — India Under-19 have named their squads for the upcoming home series against Australia Under-19, with the one-day team featuring Anvay Dravid and Aaryavir Sehwag, sons of former India captains Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag respectively.
Lakshya Raichandani will captain the one-day side, while Yashbardhan Chauhan has been appointed vice-captain. Their leadership roles will be reversed when the teams move to the multi-day fixtures.

Dravid Jr and Sehwag Jr Included in One-Day Squad
Anvay Dravid, son of Rahul Dravid, returns to the India Under-19 setup after featuring on the Sri Lanka tour in July. He made an important contribution in the second one-day match there, scoring 87 runs.
Dravid is one of two wicketkeeping options in the one-day squad alongside Rajat Baghel. Aaryavir Sehwag, son of Virender Sehwag, has also been selected for the 15-member one-day team.
Lakshya Raichandani Gets One-Day Captaincy
Raichandani will take charge of the one-day side after an impressive Sri Lanka tour. In the two-match four-day series, he finished as India’s leading run-scorer with 307 runs at an average of 153.50.
His campaign included a score of 207 in Galle followed by an unbeaten 100 in Colombo. Raichandani has also represented Uttarakhand in four first-class matches, scoring 223 runs with three half-centuries.
Yashbardhan Chauhan to Lead Multi-Day Team
Yashbardhan Chauhan will become captain for the longer-format fixtures, with Raichandani serving as his deputy. Chauhan also had a productive Sri Lanka tour, scoring 201 runs across the two four-day matches and taking six wickets.
Other players who impressed with both bat and ball in Sri Lanka have been retained. Sagar Virk scored 134 in the series, while Manal Chauhan and Kushagra Ojha contributed 150 and 111 respectively in the second match.
India Under-19 Bowling Options
Rohit Yadav, a legspinner, also claimed six wickets during the two four-day matches in Sri Lanka. Fast bowlers Chigurupati Venkata and Pranav Ragavendra took five wickets each.
Several of these players will continue across formats against Australia, with Raichandani, Yashbardhan, Kushagra Ojha, Manal Chauhan, Rohit Yadav and Mohit Ulva named in both squads.
India Under-19 vs Australia Under-19 Schedule
The three one-day matches will be played on September 18, September 21 and September 23. The first multi-day fixture will take place from September 27 to 30, followed by the second from October 5 to 8.
All matches except the second multi-day fixture will be held in Rajkot. The second four-day match is scheduled to be played in Ahmedabad.
