AMROHA, India — A portion of the newly inaugurated Meerut-Prayagraj Ganga Expressway reportedly sank after heavy rain in the Hasanpur tehsil area of Uttar Pradesh, raising questions over construction quality, drainage arrangements, embankment stability and maintenance protocols on the 594-km expressway.
