बस्ती: उत्तर प्रदेश के बस्ती जनपद में वाल्टरगंज थाने के पूर्व थानाध्यक्ष सूर्य प्रकाश सिंह की मौत की जांच में पुलिस ने एक कथित संगठित हनीट्रैप और जबरन वसूली सिंडिकेट का खुलासा किया है। 29 अगस्त को सरकारी आवास में हुई उनकी मौत के शुरुआती निरीक्षण के बाद पुलिस ने डिजिटल साक्ष्यों, कॉल डिटेल रिकॉर्ड (CDR), मोबाइल डेटा और परिजनों की शिकायत के आधार पर जांच आगे बढ़ाई। जांच के बाद पुलिस ने 6 सितंबर को तीन आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया। इनमें एक महिला, उसका पिता और एक अधिवक्ता शामिल हैं।
