Bangladesh has said it would positively consider joining the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement if formally invited, while maintaining that such a move would not restrict its engagement with other partners. The position was reiterated by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir after discussions with Saudi officials.
