Galle, August 15, 2026: Sri Lanka vs India 1st Test: Devdutt Padikkal produced a commanding unbeaten century on his return to India’s Test XI as the visitors dominated the opening day of the first Test against Sri Lanka at the Galle International Cricket Stadium. Padikkal remained unbeaten on 131 from 178 balls as India reached 288/2 in 73 overs at stumps after Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bat first.
