KANPUR, India — The alleged Kanpur Municipal Corporation tender syndicate has triggered a major administrative and criminal investigation after an internal inquiry ordered by Municipal Commissioner Arpit Upadhyay reportedly found serious irregularities in tender procedures and firm registrations. Six FIRs were registered at Nagar and Fazalganj police stations based on complaints connected with the matter.
