New Avengers Doomsday themed Marvel logo displayed at Comic-Con
Marvel unveils a new Avengers Doomsday-themed logo as the film heads toward its December 2026 release.

Marvel Studios has unveiled a new Avengers: Doomsday-themed logo, giving fans another visual glimpse at the studio’s upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe event film. The redesigned branding was seen at Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con 2026 display alongside costumes and other promotional material from the highly anticipated movie.

The new logo is part of Marvel’s expanding promotional campaign for Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled to release exclusively in cinemas on December 18, 2026. Marvel has already released promotional footage and a new trailer for the film as anticipation builds around its large ensemble of returning MCU and legacy Marvel characters.

What Does the New Avengers: Doomsday Logo Look Like?

The newly spotted branding gives the familiar Marvel Studios identity a distinct Avengers: Doomsday treatment. The logo was displayed as part of Marvel’s San Diego Comic-Con presentation, where the studio also showcased costumes connected with the upcoming film.

Rather than being presented as an isolated graphic, the logo appeared within a larger promotional display dedicated to the movie. The display included costumes associated with characters such as Thor, Cyclops, Gambit, Captain America, Yelena Belova and Sue Storm.

The new visual identity adds another layer to Marvel’s marketing for a movie that is bringing together several corners of its superhero universe.

Avengers: Doomsday Brings Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic Four Together

The scale of the project is one of the biggest reasons behind the attention surrounding its promotional material. Marvel’s announced cast includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Tom Hiddleston and James Marsden, among others.

The cast lineup connects characters from different parts of Marvel’s film history, including the Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men. Robert Downey Jr. is also set to return to the MCU in a different role as Doctor Doom, adding another major point of interest to the film.

New Logo Appears Alongside Other Doomsday Reveals

The logo reveal comes during a particularly busy promotional period for Avengers: Doomsday. Earlier in July, Marvel released a new trailer and poster for the movie, officially confirming its December 18 theatrical release.

Marvel-related promotional material has also offered additional looks at the film’s characters and visual world. Concept art shared earlier this month by former Marvel visual development director Andy Park included Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, Loki and returning X-Men characters including Nightcrawler, Beast and Mystique.

At the San Diego Comic-Con display, the new movie-themed Marvel logo was also shown alongside a Sentinel head and a mysterious character described in coverage as a possible Latverian Witch. Those elements have added to the growing visual mystery around the film, although not every detail seen in promotional displays has been explained by Marvel.

Avengers: Doomsday Release Date

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to arrive exclusively in cinemas on December 18, 2026. Anthony and Joe Russo are directing the film, while Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Jonathan Schwartz are among its producers, according to Marvel Studios’ official announcement.

The movie is expected to be an important chapter in Marvel’s ongoing Multiverse Saga, with its enormous ensemble bringing together heroes and characters from different corners of the franchise.

What the New Logo Means for Marvel’s Marketing

The new Avengers: Doomsday-themed logo does not by itself reveal any plot details, but it underlines how prominently the movie is being positioned in Marvel Studios’ current promotional campaign.

With the film’s release date approaching, Marvel has progressively expanded the amount of material surrounding Doomsday, from character-focused teasers and concept art to its latest trailer, poster and convention displays. The new logo is another piece of that campaign and gives fans a fresh visual identity to associate with the upcoming Avengers movie.

For now, the biggest questions surrounding the film remain tied to its story, the role of its large ensemble and how its different Marvel teams will come together. More details are expected as Marvel continues its promotional rollout ahead of the December release.
