Shamli, India — The Ankit Baliyan murder case has brought the spotlight onto law-and-order arrangements, interstate criminal networks and administrative procedures in western Uttar Pradesh after the Haryanvi singer and digital creator was shot dead outside a gym in the Aryapuri Nala Patri area under Shamli City Kotwali. The attack took place on Wednesday evening at around 7 pm when Baliyan, a resident of Bantikhhera village with more than 3.66 lakh social media followers, was walking towards his Scorpio vehicle.
