Gurmeet Ram Rahim Gets 21-Day Furlough

ROHTAK/SIRSA, India — Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was released from Rohtak’s high-security Sunaria jail early Tuesday after authorities approved a 21-day furlough. He left the prison at around 6:05 a.m. under heavy security and travelled to the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters in Sirsa, where his convoy arrived at approximately 8 a.m.
