Jio Financial Services has fixed August 10, 2026, as the record date for its FY26 final dividend of ₹0.60 per equity share.

Jio Financial Services (JFSL) has announced Monday, August 10, 2026, as the record date to determine the shareholders eligible to receive its final dividend of ₹0.60 per equity share (face value ₹10 each) for the financial year 2025-26. The company said eligible shareholders will receive the dividend within seven days after its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The announcement comes after JFSL declared the final dividend along with its fourth-quarter results for FY26. Investors who wish to qualify for the dividend must ensure they purchase the company’s shares before the record date, as India’s T+1 settlement cycle means shares bought on or after August 10 will not be eligible for the payout.

August 10 fixed as dividend record date

The record date determines which shareholders will receive the final dividend approved by the company. Since Indian stock markets follow a T+1 settlement system, investors need to own the shares before the record date for their names to appear in the company’s records.

JFSL also announced that Wednesday, August 19, 2026, has been fixed as the cut-off date for determining members eligible to vote on resolutions at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting.

Jio Financial Services reports strong quarterly performance

Alongside the dividend announcement, Jio Financial Services reported strong financial results for the first quarter of FY27.

The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹830 crore, registering a 156% year-on-year increase compared with ₹325 crore in the corresponding period last year. On a sequential basis, profit jumped 205% from ₹272 crore reported in the March quarter.

Revenue from operations also recorded significant growth, rising to ₹2,004 crore from ₹612 crore in the previous quarter, reflecting a 223% sequential increase.

Core business continues to expand

Jio Financial Services, which operates across investing and financing, insurance broking, payments banking, payment aggregator and gateway services, and asset management, continued to witness strong business momentum during the quarter.

Total income increased 141% year-on-year to ₹1,496 crore. The growth was driven by a 165% rise in interest income to ₹962 crore and a more than fivefold increase in fee and commission income to ₹325 crore.

The company also reported dividend income of ₹509 crore during the quarter, further supporting overall earnings.

Although total expenses surged 291% year-on-year to ₹991 crore because of higher finance costs, employee expenses and other operating costs, the strong rise in income helped the company’s pre-provision operating profit (PPOP) increase 38% year-on-year to ₹505 crore.

NBFC business records healthy growth

The company’s lending business also maintained strong momentum during the quarter. Quarterly disbursements through its NBFC business increased 2.7 times year-on-year to ₹11,252 crore.

Meanwhile, Assets Under Management (AUM) of Jio Credit Limited reached ₹30,667 crore, representing growth of more than 2.6 times compared with the same period last year.

JFSL shares recover after recent weakness

Jio Financial Services shares staged a recovery in July after facing pressure over the previous two months. The stock gained around 9% during the month to close at ₹256.45. Despite the rebound, it remains approximately 13% below its recent highs.

The stock had entered a prolonged correction after coming under selling pressure in August 2025, falling to around ₹220 before gradually recovering.

What investors should know

Shareholders who want to receive the FY26 final dividend should ensure they purchase Jio Financial Services shares before the August 10 record date. Eligible investors will receive the dividend after shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting, while the company’s latest quarterly results highlight continued growth across its lending and financial services businesses.
