Opposition parties are set to stage a joint protest in Parliament on Tuesday as the Monsoon Session enters its eleventh day, pressing the Centre to respond to two issues that have triggered political confrontation in recent days. Leaders from opposition parties in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will gather at Makar Dwar at 10:30 am to demand a statement from Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the police action during the July 20 student protest in Delhi and to raise allegations concerning donations made to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
