Manappuram Finance Q1 Results: Manappuram Finance Ltd reported a sharp improvement in its first-quarter performance for FY27 on August 11, with consolidated net profit rising 341.40% year on year to ₹585 crore. The gold-loan-focused non-banking financial company also reported a 57.20% increase in assets under management, while its board declared an interim dividend and approved Ashish Singh as the next Managing Director and CEO from January 1, 2027.

Maruti Suzuki Q1 FY27 Results: Net Profit Falls 11% to ₹3,352 Crore as Revenue Jumps 36%

Maruti Suzuki India reported an 11% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit to ₹3,352 crore for the April-June quarter of FY27, compared with ₹3,758 crore in the same quarter last year. The decline came mainly due to higher material costs, which were further impacted by the war. Despite the pressure on profitability, the company’s revenue from operations rose sharply by 36% YoY to ₹52,456 crore.
