Maruti Suzuki India reported an 11% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit to ₹3,352 crore for the April-June quarter of FY27, compared with ₹3,758 crore in the same quarter last year. The decline came mainly due to higher material costs, which were further impacted by the war. Despite the pressure on profitability, the company’s revenue from operations rose sharply by 36% YoY to ₹52,456 crore.

City Union Bank Q1 results showed a strong start to FY27, with the private sector lender reporting a 25% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹383 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The bank had reported a net profit of ₹306 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Strong growth in lending income, a sharp improvement in net interest income and better asset quality supported the bank’s performance during the quarter.
